VEGAKNITS is a yarn project founded on practice and discernment.
We design and produce our own collection of hand-dyed yarns using natural dyes, in small batches, and complement it with a selection of fibers that complete our way of understanding knitting.

We don’t work from accumulation or constant novelty.
We prefer a reduced, coherent, and carefully edited catalogue, where each quality has a clear reason to exist and a defined place within the whole.

Our work begins with the material: natural fibers, honest constructions, and controlled processes.
Color is not an effect, but another layer of the yarn. We hand-dye in our studio, caring for consistency and chromatic depth so that each skein performs in real use, project after project.

Alongside our own yarns, we incorporate HILO as a complementary line.
A selection of characterful, creative, and well-constructed fibers, chosen to coexist with VEGAKNITS without competing with it. Yarns that bring continuity and different possibilities within the same universe.

VEGAKNITS does not seek to follow trends or accelerate the pace.
